My Images of Mexico

So I wasn't how many pics to post but 5 just was not enough.
12 pics was perfect.

Here are the images that I feel reflect Mexico.
First I wanted to start with its border line, the place where some government officials feel it is necessary to spend much of our money on costly barriers.

Usually, while entering, leaving or just visiting Mexico you will encounter a beggar. A woman is here below, but I could be a child, or even a man with no legs and no wheel chair, I've seen it.

Here is an image that many people own, and wish they can visit for every vacation, Cancun.

The Sun Temple in Palenque is another tourist sight.

The monuments that reside on the city streets illustrate Mexico's history.

Although there are many lovely tourist sights found in Mexico, there are also places that may feel like hell to many of those tourists. But that hell is home to so very many, of which are children. And as we see below these children are very happy. All the children I've seen in Mexico live happily even in conditions that are poor and harsh. These Mexicans kids seem to be so much more happier and by far less bratty than the kids here in California.

Here is a home, a very decent home where a family probably worked hard on obtaining. Notice no grass or flowers, only cement. That decent home may also have cement flooring as well inside, no tile, or per go wood. And I must point out the iron window that has an open space for an AC, a major necessity living in heats passing 120 degrees.

Here below, is a much poorer Mexican living. Where people may not have a proper roof that causes water to flow in their home, they may not have running water in the home which means no shower and an out house, maybe no electricity which means no TV. But again, there are much worse living conditions here in Mexico.
The pic also shows what looks like one of many solicitors, can you believe some one asking for money in such a poor looking place. It happens almost everyday.

Tacos are the best in Mexico, especially in a place which may look like below.
If you're afraid because it looks ugly, then you will likely miss out on the best tacos ever. Real tacos.

Luckily, for these tourists, they found a real taco shop. One of the best in Mexicali. notice the colored bowls, they're served for you to create your own taco.

Mexico is known for the bull shows.

But most importantly, Mexico is well known by the lady below. She was seen in Mexico long ago, and she is in almost every Mexican home.

The border, the beggars, the beautiful sights of oceans, temples, and monuments, the families and children who live in poor conditions, the bull fights, the tacos and la Virgen de Guadalupe are all images that I carry when I think about Mexico.

There's way too much going on on the borders I agree. That just adds to the stigma of treating us Mexicans like second class citizens. It's almost like they want to build a prison for Mexico from the U.S. Doesn't it sound a lot like the Berlin wall?

Your images are very helpful to "see" Mexico. Thanks
